Buyer guide
How to buy with confidence on NMR
Every raw card on NMR is scanned, measured and reported before it is listed. This guide walks you through inspecting a card, reading its figures, and buying securely.
1. Open the card and look closely
Every NMR card is shown from its exact high-resolution scanner upload. Pinch or scroll to zoom and drag to inspect the original detail without image effects.
2. Inspect the surface and edges
Zoom into the untouched front scan, then flip to the exact rear scan to check print lines, scratches, edges and whitening before you commit.
3. Read the centering figures
NMR Vision measures the borders and publishes them as left/right and top/bottom percentages with a tolerance. 50/50 is perfectly centred; the further from 50, the more the print sits off-centre.
4. Read the condition tier
The NMR Inspection Report summarises centering, corners, edges and surface into one condition tier — Flawless, Near Mint, Excellent or Good. It describes the card as inspected by NMR and is not a certification by any third party.
5. Check the Card Passport
NMR-owned cards carry a passport code linking the exact card you are buying to its scans and report, so what arrives is the card you inspected.
6. Buy securely
Add the card to checkout and complete your order. Stock is held for you the moment the order is placed, and you can follow it from your account.
7. Track your dispatch
Orders ship from the UK with insured, tracked delivery. Your account shows the carrier and tracking number as soon as the card leaves us.
What an NMR report is — and isn't
An NMR Inspection Report records what NMR measured and saw: centering figures, high resolution imagery and a condition tier. NMR is not a certification company and the report is not a promise of any third-party outcome. It exists so you can judge a raw card accurately before you buy.
